Shotout to Banksy

Last night’s episode of The Simpsons had a particularly memorable intro, as famed street artist Banksy was pulled to create the sequence. In the scene, we watch the “couch gag” turn hands into a sweatshop full of workers crafting different Simpsons memorabilia, such as Bart Simpson dolls stuffed with animal fur and packages sealed with dolphin’s tongue. It’s definitely a dark twist, but also really interesting to see Banksy’s work in such a public outlet.
